Sadistic Abuse Exposed on UK’s Largest Pig Farm
After an anonymous tip-off, Animal Equality investigators visited Fir Tree Farm, which is owned by one of Britain’s largest pig producers. In collaboration with the Spanish TV program Salvados, Animal Equality investigated Hermanos Carrasco, a pig farm located in Spain’s Murcia region and supplier of the international meat company El Pozo which supplies major United Kingdom retailers. We discovered animals in shockingly cruel conditions, in violation of the law, suffering for days and weeks on end. Our investigation resulted in a petition asking UK retailers to stop selling meat from the supplier.

Hidden Cameras Show Abuse in Slaughterhouses in Italy

Abuse Found on Celebrated UK Pig Farm
Investigators found distressing conditions on four pig farms in the United Kingdom, including one which had won a ‘National Pig Award’ in 2016 and 2017. Pigs were routinely tail-docked, a practice prohibited by UK law, and female pigs were confined in cramped stalls for at least five continuous days.
