For months, Animal Equality has brought its cage-free campaign to Kroger’s doorstep. Now, the campaign has a home of its own just steps away.
These headquarters have been set up to ensure that we can continue this campaign with strength, with conviction.” — Sharon Núñez, President of Animal Equality
More than a campaign headquarters, the office will serve as a hub where community members, elected officials, and the media can continue to connect with Animal Equality.

Animal Equality celebrates Cincinnati office grand opening
On Friday, October 16, members of the Cincinnati community gathered to mark the office’s opening with an evening of live music and food from local deli Harmony Plant Fare.
Inside, a huge light-up sign counted the time since Kroger broke its promise to hens, a clear reminder of why the office exists.
Sharon Núñez, President of Animal Equality, addressed the crowd, sharing what she has witnessed firsthand inside battery cage factory farms, and the conditions hens endure there.
These are the very conditions Kroger promised its customers it would leave behind, and the reason Animal Equality will remain steps from Kroger’s headquarters until the company honors its cage-free commitment.
