Greg Foran is the new CEO of Kroger, one of America's largest retailers, where
he earns millions a year. Greg comes from Walmart, a company notorious for
poverty wages and looking the other way on animal abuse.
And now he's bringing that same playbook to Kroger.
He took over from a CEO who resigned in disgrace after an ethics
investigation found he violated the company's own code of conduct.
And under his watch, Kroger is hiding another dirty secret.
The grocer sells eggs laid by birds trapped in cages so cramped they
can't even spread their wings, never seeing sunlight.
Many die in these conditions. Kroger promised to end this, but it broke that
promise, and Greg Foran walked in knowing all of this and is doing
nothing. Tell Greg Foran, "Stop profiting from cruelty." Tell Kroger,
"Keep your promise."
