Help Us Save Twice as Many Animals

February 26, 2015 Updated: July 29, 2022

The organization Raising for Effective Giving (REG)  has presented Animal Equality with a matching challenge. They will match every new donation — dollar per dollar — up to a budget of 25,000 dollars. That means if you donate, for instance, 50 euros or dollars, they will give another 50 to help animals. This is an unique opportunity to have your impact doubled for the animals.  Raising for Effective Giving is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding the most effective way to employ limited resources, like time and money, in ways that improve the lives of as many sentient beings as possible. REG is also a community of poker players who aim to have a positive impact on the world. REG members pledge to donate at least 2% of their gross tournament winnings to charities with unusually high cost-effectiveness. Since REG regards Animal Equality’s work as very effective, current world champion poker player Martin Jacobson decided to match every new donation up to a budget of 25,000 dollar. At Animal Equality, we attach great value to the efficiency and effectiveness of our work. We’ve recently been considered a TOP CHARITY by Animal Charity Evaluators (ACE); that is, we are one of the most effective animal organizations worldwide with regard to our cost-effectiveness, structure, track record of success and financial situation. ACE’s calculations show that every dollar donated to Animal Equality will spare almost 11 animals from a horrible life in misery and pain. And remember: Thanks to the gbs’ matching challenge your impact will now even be doubled. If you donate today, you’ll save twice as many animals from a lifetime of suffering.
