You know it, we know it, and now even Amazon knows it: factory farms are inhumane. If you’ve seen an egg-laying hen from a factory farm, you know what we’re talking about. But things are changing! The Californian company Follow Your Heart has created an egg substitute so irresistible, tasty, and nutritious that Amazon will now sell on its website. Follow Your Heart has been perfecting the formula an entire decade. They wanted it to be just as tasty and nutritious, and they have succeeded! It can be used to make scrambled eggs, quiches, frittatas, omelets and for any baking and pastry recipe that includes eggs. Free of animal abuse and environmentally friendly! What more could you ask for? To get the perfect taste and nutritional properties, Follow Your Heart uses plant-based ingredients that provide the correct texture to the egg, as well as protein content. They also stated that they have used microalgae derivatives that provide micronutrients and all the essential amino acids. This Californian company feeds its production plant using solar energy. They care about the environment and the animals. Their cheese, mayonnaise, and sauces are all vegan and delicious. They started as a small grocery store back in 1970, called Follow Your Heart. “It was the perfect name for the store,” they said, “because we were going to do with it just what we were actually doing, we are following our heart.” Little did they know, 40 years later, they would be selling their products on Amazon.com.
