James Cameron Launches USA’s First Vegan School

‘Avatar’ film director who is vegan himself, has announced he will be opening the doors to his all new vegan school this autumn, based in Calabasas, California.

It will be the first school of its kind by serving a completely plant-based menu. “It’s about raising kids who don’t think it’s strange or exotic or worthy of a pat on the back to be doing the right thing for the living biosphere” stated Cameron.

The Titanic director and his wife, Suzy Amis Cameron, are introducing an entirely plant-based menu at her private academy, the MUSE School, which she founded in 2006 in Calabasas, California.

The film director was inspired to go vegan in 2012 after viewing the documentary Forks Over Knives. Propelled initially by the health factors, Cameron has also reached out and promoted veganism from an environmental standpoint.

The school is to be a nonprofit education center which teaches students about the environment, responsibility, and leadership. We believe this is a huge step forward for veganism and a pioneering opportunity for students and parents alike who will be aware and conscious of the importance of eating veg and living compassionately, especially in younger generations.
