During Animal Equality’s first investigation in Argentina, investigators exposed illegal cruelty at two Buenos Aires slaughterhouses. The footage–released with Argentine celebrity Kiki Petrone–showed cows bludgeoned with sledgehammers and pigs shocked in sensitive areas with electric prods. The findings were reported to Argentine authorities.

At a U.K. trout farm marketed as a “family attraction,” investigators filmed trout being beaten, left to suffocate, and poorly stunned—sometimes by children. Following the investigation, Animal Equality called for legislative action protecting U.K. fish at slaughter.
