Separation, starvation, and illegal drug use on India’s dairy farms

During Animal Equality’s first investigation in Argentina, investigators exposed illegal cruelty at two Buenos Aires slaughterhouses. The footage–released with Argentine celebrity Kiki Petrone–showed cows bludgeoned with sledgehammers and pigs shocked in sensitive areas with electric prods. The findings were reported to Argentine authorities.

Cows chained, shocked on Spanish dairy farms

Animal Equality released an investigation exposing cruelty in Spain’s dairy industry. Cows were forcibly impregnated, separated from their newborn calves, and slaughtered around age six when milk production declined. On some farms, they were chained by the nose or shocked with electric devices to restrict movement. The findings were featured in ads across three Madrid subway stations.
