Music icon Lenny Kravitz is looking and feeling better than ever. His secret? Healthy plant-based eating and exercise.

In a video interview for Men’s Health, Kravitz talks about his vegan diet and exercise routine.”Here’s my fridge… What we have is green and greener: we have cucumbers, mangoes, broccoli, kale, salad greens.” He also said that his diet helps him stay lean and energetic while performing on stage. “I am very careful what I put on my body and how I take care of it. It’s a combination of eating all of these things and exercising and keeping my muscles and joints in shape, so I can do what I do.”

“When I’m here, I like to eat as much food as possible, especially in the summer when all these beautiful fruits are growing.” Lenny mentioned that on cheat days he also loves pasta, bread, pancakes, waffles, and other carbs.

Kravitz also explained in an interview to The Telegraph why he chose to follow a plant-based diet, saying that it is “the right thing for yourself, and for the planet and animals.” We couldn’t agree more!
