Sadistic Abuse Exposed on UK’s Largest Pig Farm
After an anonymous tip-off, Animal Equality investigators visited Fir Tree Farm, which is owned by one of Britain’s largest pig producers. We found that several workers repeatedly abused animals, including kicking pigs in the face and head, jabbing pigs with a fork and spraying paint directly up a pig’s nose.

Our investigation resulted in a petition asking UK retailers to stop selling meat from the supplier.

We released a series of images shot inside a sheep and goat slaughterhouse in Italy, which is one of the 200 Italian facilities that allows the ritual slaughter of animals without prior stunning, resulting in a painful and terrifying death for the sensitive animals.

Abuse Found on Celebrated UK Pig Farm

Pigs were routinely tail-docked, a practice prohibited by UK law, and female pigs were confined in cramped stalls for at least five continuous days.

Chicken Factory Farms in India
Animal Equality's investigation into chicken farms in India exposed practices that still were going on despite violating the most basic animal welfare and food safety standards.
