Kroger promised to end this cruelty, then quietly backtracked. Ron Sargent is refusing to take a stand against this failure.

Ron Sargent chairs the board of Kroger, one of America's largest retailers, where
he earns over $350,000 a year. He built his reputation in
consumer retail, where trust is everything.
Sargent also served on the board of Wells Fargo during the fallout of one of the
largest consumer fraud scandals in US banking.
This was not a one-off failure. It exposed a system that ran
unchecked at the board level, and it's happening again.
Under Ron Sargent's leadership, Kroger shockingly still sells eggs from
hens trapped in cages so small they can't spread their wings.
The birds are forced to suffer their entire lives, never seeing
sunlight. Some die there. Kroger promised to end this, but
didn't, and Ron Sargent is still on the board.
Is this what retail leadership looks like?
Tell Ron Sargent, "Stop profiting from cruelty." Tell Kroger,
"Keep your promise."
