Animal Equality’s Matteo Cupi Is Asking You to Be an Animal Hero

UPDATE: Animal Equality's Matching Gift Campaign has been extended by one week. Donate until July 7th to have your contribution doubled thanks to a generous, anonymous donor.

And if you sign up to be a monthly donor of Animal Equality before the deadline, your donation will be matched every month for a year!

This opportunity to impact twice the animals only lasts until July 7th, or until Animal Equality’s global goal of $500,000 is reached. We're over 70% of the way to our goal—will you help us make it to the finish line for animals?

Matteo Cupi, Vice President for Europe, is grateful for the unwavering support of our donors, whose contributions are crucial to the continued success of our work in the fight for animal protection.

We are thrilled to share that the tireless efforts of our supporters have led to new animal protection laws in Italy. With your invaluable contributions, we have successfully ended the cruel massacre of male chicks in Italy’s egg industry. Together, we have spared over 25 million animals from a life of suffering, marking historic progress for animals.

There is still much work to be done, and we are dedicated to pushing for further progress for farmed animals within the European Union. In May of 2023, an important decision was made by the EU Commission of Petitions to keep a petition open that aims to bring an end to the breeding of fast-growing chickens. This would be a significant step towards improving the lives of animals.

Animal Equality is an international organization that has investigated over 840 farms and slaughterhouses across 15 countries. We have raised awareness and informed millions of people about the harsh realities of the meat, egg, dairy, and fishing industries and their impact on animals. Our discoveries provide an unfiltered glimpse into the lives of farmed animals, empowering viewers to see the need for change and the power of choosing plant-based alternatives to meat, dairy and eggs.

Join Animal Equality in our mission to end factory farming! Your donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference. The Matching Gift Campaign is ending soon, and a generous donor is ready to match your donation. Donate now to help us reach our global goal of $500,000.
