Howard University’s Center for Supply Chain Excellence: leadership linked to cruelty
Tell Howard University: Kevin Brown must go
Kevin Brown helps guide Howard University’s Center for Supply Chain Excellence.
But today, his name is increasingly connected to cruelty, deception, and broken promises, animal cruelty, and unethical supply chains.
At Dell, his supply chain has faced scrutiny over links to child labor.
At Kroger, he helps oversee a company that abandoned its promise to stop confining hens in cages.
Howard University should not be connected to these scandals. It is a better institution than what Kevin Brown represents.
Tell Howard University: remove Kevin Brown from leadership now.

What’s wrong with cages?
Hens in Kroger’s supply chain are trapped in tiny wire cages. Thousands of birds are packed inside filthy sheds filled with ammonia from their own waste.
Many become sick or injured. Some die slowly inside the cages.
In 2016, Kroger promised to stop selling eggs from hens kept in cages.
For years, the company repeated that promise to customers.
Then Kroger backed away from it.
Now, millions of hens remain trapped in cages because Kroger chose not to keep its word.
