Greece Bans Animal Circuses

The Greek Government has banned the use of all animals in circuses. Greece is the 1st country in Europe to ban all animals from circuses and similar performances.

It was reported that on Friday 16 December, Barus, a male Sumatran tiger at Barcelona Zoo, fell into the water moat surrounding his exhibit and drowned.
